Hardwire Tackle x Alaska Bottom Bouncing Jigs

This jig has a lot going on, literally. The boys at Alaska Bottom Bouncing Jigs have teamed up with us here at Hardwire Tackle to make what we truly believe is a premium halibut, lingcod and rockfish lead jig that has yet to be seen. 

It all starts with the jig head coated in STARDUST Unbreakable Powder Paint. Gone are the chips and cracks you get from traditional powder coating. Nothing is more unsettling than after a day of bouncing your favorite colored jig off the bottom that it has returned back to it's original lead (silver) color! Painting the head in STARDUST eliminates this by providing a virtually indestructible coating that can take a beating!

Next, we paired the lead jig with our own proprietary Hardwire Tackle grubs. Heavy duty, highly durable yet extremely flexible, our grubs go perfect with the STARDUST jig head. We also threw in a skirt to give it more... flare! 

Now onto the finale... We heard from many fisherman that they didn't want the fish to be able to use the weight of the jig head to throw the hook. Our solution? Make this beauty fully articulating! And by not having a static hook it also gives the jig more action!

These jigs, made famous by Tony Davis and his Kodiak Custom Tackle company, are designed and proven to catch record breaking sized ocean fish. Big sized halibut, lingcod, yelloweye and rockfish can't resist these jigs!

Use Kodiak Custom bottom fish jigs with or without bait, a medium-speed jigging motion, approx. 1-10 feet off bottom and bounce the bottom regularly to monitor depth changes.
